Colts opened with a 0-0 draw to Welsh side, Llanbradach and despite dominating play, could not get the win their football deserved. Eddie went close and Jimmy hit the underside of the crossbar and with skipper Joshua B, Alex and Sebastian in goal, the boys never looked like conceding. FC Chippenham next up and another tight affair where Jimmy and Joseph worked hard in midfield but a piece of brilliance from Cain saw FC nick the points. The pressure was on Colts to win their last 2 group games against Malmesbury's North and South respectively and they responded well with 2-0 and 1-0 wins, all from the boot of Eddie. The scoreline in the last match flattered South, as Joseph hit the crossbar and had a perfectly good goal chalked off by the official from Uruguay. Under 9's met another Malmesbury team in the Semi-final and edged past with 2 Jimmy strikes to meet FC (again!!) in consecutive finals. Eddie opened up the scoring with another fine finish but an equaliser on the stroke of halftime and another thumping effort in the second half denied Colts a Tournament double despite the brilliance of Sebastian in goal.
