Under 7s are for children in School Year 2.
The Under 7 team does not play in a league because football is non-competitive for this age group.
However, they will play some friendly matches during the season.

U7 - Trowbridge Town vs CCCFC |
Back to the league programme and back to form. Louie netted twice in a first half performance which featured Josh running himself into the ground whilst completely running the show, a penalty save from the 'goal machine' and an unfortunate own goal by Trowbridge.
It must have been dispiriting for our hosts when we were able to give Josh a rest by bring on the equally dominant Will but they put up very spirited performance to shade the half and net with the last kick of the game. Archie kept up his scoring stats late in the half with his usual goal. Well done to all who wore the black and white - Angus, Alex, Ben, Ollie, Jude and Jayden did especially well to keep our hosts at bay in the face of about 15 corners in the second half. |

U7 - FC Chippenham vs CCCFC |
I am one very proud manager this week. If the U7's were a little rusty last week - they certainly remembered what they were doing this week as they maintained their record of not conceding a goal yet in their league fixtures.
They were all finding space and passing to each other so naturally - this left the managers on the sidelines scratching thier heads thinking - 'we haven't taught them to do that yet!'.
Louie scored a first half trick to add to goals from Archie and Will. However everyone contributed so much - Josh (creator), Alex (destroyer), Ben (co-destroyer), Rory (constant motion) and Jayden (the terrier). |

U7 - Malmesbury vs CCCFC |
We once again had a 'six mini game' friendly with our neighbours at Malmesbury. The boys seemed a little out of sorts, however this could have been down to the constant swapping of the line ups disrupting rythym.
14 of our 15 man squad got 3 games each and there were great contributions from the likes of Ollie, Cameron, Henry, Matty, Joe, Ben, Alex with Josh, Angus and Jude having outstanding games. Archie, Louie, Rory and Will shared the goalscoring honours. |

U7 Melksham Town Robins vs CCCFC |
The U7's went goal crazy this week in what was actually a very tough fixture. Melksham had some very good players and it took a while for our lads to work out how to close them down. We conceded goals for the first time in a league match but responded with a decent bagful of our own Archie gave his dad the best birthday present he could by getting a double trick while Josh, Louie and Will all bagged a brace each. Credit to everyone at Melksham for getting the game on in what started as very 'crunchy' conditions and for putting on a very well spirited encounter.

Mascots for a day |
Archie and Cameron had a fantastic day out as mascots for the recent Chippenham Tn v Oxford City fixture. They won this prize in the quiz at the xmas swimming party and would like to thank all those at CCCFC and CTFC who made it happen and for looking after them so well.
