Our first game in 2015 ended with a very unlucky defeat against table toppers Malmesbury. The colts controlled the 1st half and should have had somethoing to show for it, James & Jacob dominated midfield with Matthew & Toby causing their fullbacks all sorts of problems, the back 4 were comfortable with Dan marshalling things superbly, Jamie & Eddie never let their defenders rest. Despite playing some great football on a difficult pitch, we never really capitalised, some of our decison making near their penalty area was a little slow, something for us to work on in training. 0-0 at halftime.

The 2nd half was a bit more scrappy as Malmesbury upped their game and made it a lot more difficult for us all over the pitch, 16mins into the half Malmesbury scored the only goal when their forward reacted more quickly than us to slot the ball past Jasper, injuries to Tom T and Eddie didn't help our cause as we tried to get an equaliser, Eddie did have an effort superbly saved  by the Malmesbury keeper and Matthew was harshly adjudged to have handled the ball when scoring in the final minute. A very good game played in a great spirit by both teams.

Man of the Match: Tom Rutherford had an excellent game closely followed by Dan & Jacob.
