The colts suffered only their 2nd defeat of the season when visitors Highworth Town deservedly won 3-1.

Highworth started the game brightly and were soon dominating, their pressure eventually telling when they scored their 1st goal on 14mins, the 2nd soon followed on 18mins, their 3rd came when we allowed the winger to go past us and cross unchallenged resulting in Tom T diverting the ball past a helpless Jasper.

A strong talk was required from myself and Paul at halftime to try and get some pride in our performance. We did start the 2nd half on the front foot and started to play in the Highworth half, however Highworth always looked dangerous on the break, but as a team we defended better and were able to keep a clean sheet. Eddie scored our goal after James played a great through ball for him to go on an excellent run beyond 3 defenders before rounding the keeper to calmly finish.

Man of the match: Jacob - battled superbly.
