Wiltshire County U11 Cup: Westbury Youth Tigers 0 CCCFC Whites 10 Print
Season 14/15 - Under 11 White

Squad rotation was the name of the game as the Whites progressed to the third round of the Wiltshire County Cup with the minimum of fuss.
There was none of the drama of the previous round at Salisbury as the visitors put the game beyond their battling hosts from Westbury before half-time.
By then, they were four goals to the good as Tom surged the full length of the field on the right to cross for Luke S to crash home a fine opener and George added two opportunist strikes either side of one from Brandon M.
Bradley fired into the far corner early in the second half and Luke S and Brandon M completed their doubles in style. Tom joined them on the scoresheet and Josh marked his return to the team with a popular goal after some determined play in the box. An own goal completed the Colts’ tally.
At times, the Colts were simply too eager in the Westbury box - as proven by the fact they had four further efforts disallowed for offside.
All of the players played in at least two positions on the day and four of them – Luke V, Bradley, Callum and Liam – kept clean sheets in goal.
The latter pair threatened on numerous occasions in the first half, with Callum shooting just over after a good run and Liam striking the base of a post at the end of a sweeping move.
Max was tough and assured at the back alongside Josh before the break and set up a number of chances at the other end after it through some unselfish play. Luke V’s pace and skill on the left also troubled the home side, who to their credit kept going until the final whistle.
MOM: Max.
