U10 Blue Division: Trowbridge Town Yellows 0 CCCFC Whites 3 Print
Season 13/14 - Under 10 White

The Whites weathered soggy conditions to claim their first win at Woodmarsh and their fourth in as many Blue Division outings this season.
Trowbridge were also unbeaten going into the fixture and were particularly strong defensively as they provided the Colts with their sternest test since the opening day of the campaign.
A couple of misplaced passes gave them the chance to break the deadlock in a goalless first period but it was the visitors who fashioned the better opportunities thanks to some decent football on a slippery surface.
Bradley whipped over a fine corner that Matthew glanced wide and then went close himself with a looping effort, while Luke broke through at the end of a sweeping move before narrowly failing to hit the target.
The sodden travelling supporters were finally given something to cheer early in the second half when one of Max’s many superb throws to his wingers fed the lively Brandon M on the left and his cross found its way to the in-form George, who fired across goal and into the far corner.
Matthew’s skill up front always posed a threat to the Trowbridge defence and he curled home a typically assured strike from the edge of the area to give the Colts some breathing space.
Trowbridge attempted to hit back but Brandon H and Tom did well to mop up and clear any danger, while Max’s handling was exceptional again.
With Luke conducting affairs with some sound passing in the middle of the park, Colts continued to press and George forced home his second of the morning from close range to cap off a very good performance from the whole team.
