We were invited to play a friendly against our friends from Chippenham at the 3G pitch, Stanley Park. All 3 mini games we played ended 1-1 which showed how well matched we were.

We played really well in the first period - although a defensive lapse meant that we conceded early on. With Zac, JJ and Rory storming down the wings creating chances - we deservedly went level when Archie lashed one in in typical style. David, Jay and Joe formed a really secure defensive unit which Toby came on to reinforce later on.

In the second and third periods we let Tom loose - his particular brand of energy, enthuisiasm and ability were just what we needed as the accuracy of our passing fell away. He went on to score two completely different goals and clinch the MOM award again. The first was where he chased down a lost cause, the second was a brilliant 20 yard lob
